The Department of Urbanism and the Chair of Spatial Planning and Strategy took an active role the organisation of the Preparatory Conference African Perspectives on Urbanisation, which took place between 25 and 27 January 2018 in Addis Ababa. This conference was jointly organised by TU Delft and EiABC (the Ethiopian Institute of Architecture, Building Construction and City Development) and is part of the Faculty of Architecture’s vision (AAA= Africa, Automation, Agility) and its mission to deliver education for the New Urban Agenda, in the framework of the partnership with UN-Habitat and the World Urban Campaign.
