Ceren Sezer has received a DAAD (Deutscher Akademischer Austausch Dienst) scholarship award by the German Government in November 2019. Since then, Ceren has been working as a research fellow in RWTH Aachen University, Institute for Urban Design and European Urbanism – Chair of Urban Design, which is led by Prof. Christa Reichter. Ceren supports the chair for the internationalisation of a new master program on Transforming City Regions (TCR). Under this framework, Ceren initiated, and currently coordinates two education programs: a new Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) on the impact of technological-innovation on transforming city regions (Available online from September 2020) and a Summer School on the Future development of Rheinisches Revier (September 2020). For these initiatives, Ceren has received a funding award (total amount: 30.000 Euros) from the IDEA League, which is an education consortium of TU Delft, RWTH Aachen University, ETH Zurich, Chalmers University and Politecnico di Milano. Additionally, Ceren supports the chair for the curriculum development of the TCR program and coordinates a design studio in Istanbul.
