Dag Kittang is a professor in urban conservation and planning at the Faculty of Architecture and Design at. He has a master in architecture and defended his doctoral dissertation on “The wooden town of Trondheim  –  modernisation or conservation” in 2006.

He is doing research on the topic architectural and urban conservation and together with The Department of Urbanism, TU Delft, he is working on a JPI Cultural heritage project, PICH – The impact on urban planning and governance reform on the historic built environment and intangible cultural heritage. He will give a talk as part of the SPS Seminar Series on “Urban development and the conflict modernisation and renewal” on Tuesday 13 March at 12:30.
