Remon Rooij new coordinator of Bachelor’s degree programme in Architecture

Dr R.M. (Remon) Rooij has been appointed coordinator of the Bachelor’s degree programme in Architecture as of 1 June 2012.
His duties will include leading the implementation of the new Bachelor’s degree programme and, in this role, he will support Mr C.H.E. (Christian) van Ees, who will stay on as Director of Education two days a week from 1 July 2012 to 1 July 2013.
Professor M. Riedijk will resign as Director of Studies for the Bachelor’s programme as of 1 June 2012. Christian van Ees will officially take over this position in combination with his duties as Director of Education; Remon Rooij will be largely responsible for the actual execution. Michiel Riedijk will again focus entirely on his chair and Neutelings Riedijk Architects. The faculty expresses its thanks to Michiel Riedijk for his clear analysis of the Bachelor’s degree programme and his proposals to improve the quality, study feasibility and efficiency of the programme. These will form the basis for the new Bachelor’s curriculum, which will be introduced in the 2013-2014 academic year.
