Lidewij Tummers, tutor-researcher at Spatial Planning & Strategy, has obtained a COST Grant for a Short Stay Scientific Mission in the Gender Science and Technology program. With hospitality of  Leibniz University Hannover, she will perform a concise comparative study on gender approaches in Planning; highlighting the case of Germany. Germany is advanced in the development of gender-aware planning modules such as Gender Kompass Planung by Gender_Archland. assembles experts and publications on this field. The underlying question is if instruments and education modules developed in German-speaking regions can be relevant for

other regions? In what way should knowledge transfer on gender planning take place between planning cultures?
